I too find it hilarious that people jumped out of the world trade center because they were cowards. I also think it's pretty funny that people got crushed to death. I mean, you should obviously go to the top of the tower to prevent such a tragedy. That's social darwinism for you.

Following an immediate phone call to the MSU campus operator I also sent the following e-mail to same -


Dear Sirs ,

It has been brought to my attention that a number of MSU students will be staging a mockery of the 9/11 tradgedy in one of your cafeteria's tomorrow .
Their plan is to build mock towers and hurl toy airplanes at the structures and I felt I should make someone aware of this behavior .

Thank you for your attention ,

Even if we get asked to stop there are designated free speech areas. We will have our public fun.

And considering people who held signs thanking god for 9/11 were allowed to preach, I think we will be fine. (surprisingly they weren't westboro affiliates.)

Why do you want to provoke people? You may even incite violence which isn't a good thing.

It's one of those things where I don't particularly care about the message, but I still feel it is important enough to get out. We are also going to have 1 word posters sitting next to us saying things like "Darfur". Pretty much going to try to make it as passive-aggressive as possible, but also to put as little effort into it as possible.

The campus has excellent security and patrolling public safety officers, along with a police sub-station right on campus so I wouldn't count on things getting out of hand.

On the funny part, it's like this. I would never in a million years laugh if I saw somebody kick a baby, and I would probably do everything in my power to make sure they ended up dead, however jokes about kicking babies can be pretty damn funny. So I will enjoy myself while spreading the message.



Nah, it actually does have a purpose.

What is the message? That's you're an insensitive prick? That you think 9/11 isn't a big deal? I think you need to do a better job at conveying your message.
