while funny and telling about how fucked up the dump called "LA" is, it doesnt actually make sense.

I highly doubt that criminal law has been or would be the thing holding back HIV-positive persons who'd otherwise knowingly expose others to their disease.
I mean... who the fuck would think "oh cool, now that it's no longer a felony, I can finally spread my aids around; lets go!"

Yeah, and I actually agree with the rationale. Now that the number of HIV drugs has gone up 10 fold it's no longer as serious of a disease as it was even ten years ago. I believe it will still be a misdemeanor so it's not like it's going to be legalized.

Oh I dunno someone with aids who was fucking horny.

Whereas passing that law in California has the very real possibility of telling folks with aids that they can now use that disease to say... get back at someone, for any real or imagined slight.


It's a stupid law. There is NO justification for passing it. None.

It's not being made legal.
