I've been in London this week and went to the protests yesterday to check it out. There were some of the stereotypical derided lefty types like in that photo, but it was mostly just normal people.

Personally I'm pretty apathetic about the protesting. While I believe it was right to invite him over and give him the royal treatment as the democratically elected leader of our closest ally, people have the right to protest it publicly.

May is such a weak PM so it's no surprise she doesn't challenge Trump on disastrous policies like abandoning the Paris agreement. Would have preferred it if our government applied some pressure to him behind closed doors, but they haven't and so people took it into their own hands.

I think the protestors knew Trump would be aware of the protests and how unpopular he is, so may think twice before pursuing policies we mostly disagree with.

Thing is, I doubt Trump will change at this point, so to answer your question: not a lot.
