I also enjoyed Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. You can keep the other 2 from the prequel.

But 7 was also pretty good. 8 was hot garbage.

3 is great, only gets hated on because its such a dark ending and very dark themes throughout. its not a fun watch.

I think III is fantastic and i'd rank it worthy with 4-6 without hesitation. It's that good to me.

I wasn't a huge fan of TFA awakens but it is much better than 1/2 & TLJ. I didn't think they could make a movie as bad as Attack of the Clones, but they made TLJ.

I would rather watch AotC than TLJ and that's pathetic.

i think rogue one and III suffer from being bummers, even though they like you say are predictably a bummer. i do think that if post-rise lord vader they did a 10 min scene of Obi Wan watching over young luke instead of a 30 second clip it would have had a more hopeful aftertaste and would get less hate. u can't really sugar coat Rogue One tho, even though i thought Vader's short scene at the end was incredibly bad ass and made the film overall. Forest droopy eyed Whitaker had an annoying voice, blind samurai dude was bad ass tho. solid star wars film overall given how terrible TLJ was.

I really like Rouge One. I thought it was better than TFA for sure. I had high hopes for TLJ after leaving the theatre after Rouge One. It was a great movie.

Rian Johnson pissed on that though. Then puked on it and shit on it.

I never bought into the prequel hate. Granted, some of the jar jar stuff from TPM + the anakin-padme lovey dovey scenes in AotC were pretty cringe-worthy, but overall still good movies packed with plenty of important SW lore. Revenge of the Sith is still one the better movies, although [like most things] the novelization was much better & covered a lot of the details that the movie skipped over.

I think the OT are a bit overrated to be honest. They’re great movies that obviously kicked off the universe, however I feel like people over romanticize them because of the nostalgia of it all. The *i grew up on the OT, so they’re god & > everything else & i won’t even have a conversation about it* type

Rouge one, while a bit of the dull side, definitely had a OT feel to it all, which I loved. The end scene with Vader made the movie though.

TFA was pretty good

TLJ was complete & utter shit

Solo fixes the parsecs flub, i liked the movie overall but that gave me a really big smile in the theater. genius.

people hate the prequels for the mediclorians shit, idk, like ya its a wierd addition with no real reason to be there but it doesnt ruin anything.



rian's explanation for why no one ever has hyperspaced into something else is enough to hate him forever. he could have said, yeah i fucked up, sorry. instead he said something about it being potentially a banned maneuver. fuck u man, fuck you. these are rebels fighting for the lives of the entire galaxy, their organization is banned.

I mean, it's not like the empire was blowing up planets with a death machine....... I completely get why the Rebels would honor the "banned Maneuver" code. One unmanned cargo ship shot into hyperspace ends the empire.

I honestly think they should strike TLJ off of canon and start again. They should blatantly say that they apologize for the horrible movie and they'll be more careful in creating an acceptable episode 8. Free of all of the fluff that RJ and KK decided to interject. This will never happen, but that is what they should do. I've read the leaked storyboard blogs and seen a few videos that outline the potential Episode 9 movie.... Seems pretty weak IMO but it's just a leak/theory and who knows how the final product will be.

The problem is if they stick with the story of TLJ - how do they proceed? The story is so fucked that it's basically how does Mary Sue - I mean Rey- kill kylo/first order to save the galaxy. We have nothing else to build on. Another fantastic story point they need to 180 - Rey picking up a lightsabre and defeating a Skywalker trained by Sith masters & Luke himself. Then they bust out the little nugget that her parents aren't important in any way. So fucking stupid.

if they make a convincing story of how Rey turns Kylo it will be good, and yet a rip off of luke-vader. theyll fuck it up tho, like u say its beyond repair. like half of 2 puzzles stuffed into one box.
