Not gonna lie when the vehicular homicide guy from Florida (don't recall his name, it is off-topic) received 24 years
I found it crazy. Yes it was murder but he was an adolescent.

Edit: Tampa Bay it was

You bring up multiple issues. So, I'll address them by order:

1. If you're assaulted with a deadly weapon (which happens to include both a boot and a skateboard) then yes, if you survive, you are legally able to utilize your rifle to insure that deadly weapon is not used on you again.

2. I believe he will be acquitted on everything other than the possession charge. That, I believe, will either end up in a hung jury, or guilty.

3. The impact on American Society if Kyle is found guilty on murder charges in a clear self-defense case will be terrible. I predict lawmakers being targeted by people worried that their ability to simply exist goes unchecked.

Is this a fair answer to your question? If you require any clarifying questions, feel free to ask.

#3. People will die not defending themselves, because they will be afraid to defend themselves or their family.

He got the book thrown at him.
He was showing no remorse either, this was not a self defense case.

Well, yes, probably. I think there'll be a spate of those who'll go on the attack because their liberty is being removed, and their existence and that of their family is under threat going on the attack.

Conversely, there'll be those afraid of consequences who'll die rather than violate the law.

Regardless of what you see, it'll be terrible, no?

Edit: Liberty cannot be granted, merely taken away.

I know it wasn't self defense, it was a race and it was reckless. But the guy was young and immature just as Kyle is.
Why would you give the harshest sentences to the least mature.

This depends on attitude and remorse.
In this case he was probably trained by his lawyer to show it for a lesser sentence and he didn't care

A vehicle is a ton+ weapon. If a person is participating in illegal activity in that weapon, how is that comparable to a guy legally in possession of a firearm defending himself from violent attack?

Your line of questioning would get you a contempt of court charge, you understand?

I was hoping for a call tomorrow

The race guy never testified.

Kyle did. And based on my judgment, we did VERY well against an experienced, ambitious prosecutor. Would you
deny that Kyle received training? It is the most natural thing to assume and he learned well from it.

I challenge the characterization of this as a "BLM Riot". I do not believe this is accurate. There had been BLM protests prior, regarding Jacob Blake. Yet if you watch the riot footage, there's not really anything about BLM, protests, or anything else.

The riot is simply a riot. Either that, or I've missed something.

Whos pushing the narrative that kyle is a white supremacist? and why?

Accept and embrace clown world.
You'll be happier.
