Sorry, the headstone doesn't say "Woodrow Wilson."

I'm not really upset over any perceived fairness over it, just that a certain poster out there is a petty bitch, staying small.

Can we compromise and dance on both graves? Would make a fun party imo.

Not very fun party when one is in Washington DC and the other is in California. I mean, I'd wave to you and all, but I don't think you'd see me.

To celebrate the death of anyone who suffered Alzheimer's for as long as Reagan did is probably doing him justice, it's a terrifying prognosis for living out old age.

To me, from an outsider looking in, in my personal experience with Alzheimer's, it always looks much harder on the families of those afflicted by it than the afflicted themselves. I knew some people in advanced Alzheimer's and dementia that were very happy...the families had a hard time with it though. And this was in an institutional setting, which is important to note.

I've been pretty close toa home and hospice situation and it is pretty hard. I have made DNR very clear to my wife.

You have to make it very clear to whatever state you happen to live in, via a form that is notarized by your doctor, otherwise a verbal request isn't much when it comes to a health care system trying to cover its ass.

When somebody is crashing it is never good to be confused about Advanced Directives, yet there is always the question "is this person a DNR or Full Code?", and then it is often listed differently on different parts of an individual's file.

Make a medical packet with info you will need at the hospital, and keep it on the fridge.
