I wouldnt call Trump transparent. He's undisciplined and allows the public way too much insight into the decision-making process of himself and of his administration.
He's more direct in his speeches and tweets than Obama ever was, he doesnt hide his true feelings and intentions behind sophisticated, pretentious language like Obama did - but Trump is mostly transparent when he "fucks up" in a political sense, not because he's adhering to some ethical standard or making a conscious decision to be transparent.

Trump haters might even call it "verbal diarrhoe".

The media coverage of this seems a bit strange.... why do some people think Trump shouldn't meet with Putin? Our IC says Russia is still meddling... so why not give Trump an opportunity to tell Putin to cut it out? Then we can criticize him afterwards if he doesn't mention it.

I love seeing these guys talk. It really shows you the limits of Trump's power... the men he appointed basically refuting all of his dumb talking points.
