He will win again, he's the incumbent.
There would have to be another Ross Perot and republicans and the democrats have successfully colluded to avoid having a 3rd party represented in their debates.
The two party system can be considered a one party system with two branches.
We had a nice law for the votes before 2012. It was a two round vote. In the first, every party candidate and independent people (who could manage to collect the necessary few thousand signs) was on the paper, and you could vote on anybody, even if he/she hasn't had a chance, your vote wasn't a wasted vote. This way small parties or indepentent candidates could flourish and grow fast. In the second round (the next week) Only the top 2 candidate was on the paper, and the first round was null and void. This meant if the first round winner wasn't popular enough or even unpopular amongst the smaller party supporters, they could back up the second candidate and win. This way, the winner always was backed up by 50%+1 votes.
In 2012 the Orbán regime changed it to a single round vote, and made the "recommendation note" collection more easy. Now they could make their own sattelite parties and copy their own signs, so the fake party can participate in the election. On the last election there were
23! parties on the list and 17 were just fake, business parties, made for collect the funding, and steal as many votes as they can from the real opposition parties.
