Expecting Trump's tariffs to "bring jobs" in a month or two is ludicrous.
That's not how businesses work. It'll take 5-10 years.

Trump's tariffs will bring steel production for example back to the US. We gave it away in the 80's. Then nail companies will be able to get decent steel again, rather than the cheap Chinese crap steel.

And consumers will buy the cheaper nails and put the americans out of business.
