The average millennial does spend too much on toast and $5 Starbucks coffees, and $900 phones etc.
As for Gen X and millennials, the boomers get nada from them, so I don't know where that comes from. I imagine you are just deluding yourself into thinking you "carry" the boomers or some equally ridiculaous BS.

I could buy a $900 phone every week for 10 years and it wouldn't even come close to the cost of a house in my area. Nobody does this.

How about the JSP forums? Everyone on here has a smart phone. Why? It's not needed. That's an illusion.
I have a $25/month Cricket dumb, flip phone. It calls anywhere in the US just fine. Doesn't need internet, and severely low security apps.

The generations today are spoiled. I spent my whole adult working life without cell phones at all, let along these portable comps you call phones.

your assumption of a handful of jsp users that vary in age and generation is your data for proving the average millennial being an avocado toast eating, starbucks chugging, $900 phone having bunch of people who can't afford homes because of these choices? And then you end your post with an anecdote and even pull the "back in my day" bullshit?

this really is boomer logic & speak.

And what did my generation do, to cause this problem? In the US, I'm talking about.

The massive population spike is now sucking the life out of young tax payers to keep up with the massive deficit of social security.

WE paid for our social security, son. You're paying now, for yours later.

It wasn't my generation that put the crooks in office that siphoned off the SSI funds. It was you oh so smart college idiots that put those people in office.

The phones are just and example. You can't keep sending that kind of money to another country, and expect the US to wildly prosper. The boomers are the buy American generation, not you guys.

You think that that small deduction you had back then is paying for 30 years of life after retierment?

Are you fucking that delusional.

Any you tutored math???

It was never designed for today's growing life expectancy.

I worked 70-90 hours a week and ran zero exemptions the whole time. Yeah, I did pay for it. I was making $2500-$3000 a week too.
This is just a small facet of what you don't understand, while you're so busy whining.

No you didn't pay for it. You clearly have no grasp on payroll deductions.

On your next deposit write a thank you to all the people you're shitting on who paid for it.

Well one of us doesn't. And since I'm not the one whining all the time, I'm gonna bet that's you.
I not only paid for my SSI, I probably paid for 1-3 other peoples.

My generation weren't the "Oh, let's have open borders, we can afford it" idiots. ^^
