How about the JSP forums? Everyone on here has a smart phone. Why? It's not needed. That's an illusion.
I have a $25/month Cricket dumb, flip phone. It calls anywhere in the US just fine. Doesn't need internet, and severely low security apps.

The generations today are spoiled. I spent my whole adult working life without cell phones at all, let alone these portable comps you call phones.
