the hypocrisy is astounding, and luckily the times we live in bring this stuff around in such a short duration it's pretty undeniable.

Trump's tweets at Obama are nearly all critiques of his own presidency.

For christ's sake, TI is now calling for a boycott of the NFL, which was "snowflake behavior" last year when the right called for it.

Denying the cake was legal
Denying Sarah Sanders was legal
Not kneeling is legal

Denying the cake is a good idea
Denying Sarah Sanders is a bad idea
Not kneeling is a bad idea

Very simple, we can stop talking about it now

unlimited free press from the POTUS twitter account is a bad idea?

Trump could have posted their health code violations and they'd still get a massive bump in business.....

argument for what? you said it was a bad idea, presumably that means from the perspective of the restaurant owner. They don't like Trump, and now they're going to get a massive boost to their business of exclusively anti-Trump customers.

i don't have an argument for or against the move specifically, i argue for freedom of association. so a bigoted cake shop owner can deny ALL gays, and so they can deny gay people that want a detailed cake that they feel morally wrong about baking. i feel the right to serve or deny a customer is paramount for business owners, and as an individual freedom should be maintained even when it hurts others feelings. the only exceptions being cases of life and death, which would be rare.

as to the morality, that's subjective and i frankly dont care about. i believe this is a situation outside of traditional morals however, as it seems to be in a long line of trump staff getting denied. which seems to be a way to grab free press. which Trump is personally more than happy to give out. that's not an argument for or against something morally, as Trump himself said:

Morals arent subjective though. Its either right or wrong. Wrong behavior will bite you in the rear eventually

One day you'll work through the philosophical issues the rest of us tackled at 15.

i understand exactly what you mean, and as is often the case it's only really true on a macro scale. sure "wrong" things will lead to real life consequences (whether this is purely social or ordained is moot), while "right" things will lead to real life rewards.

did you think i worked with felons to improve their lives or setting up community gardens because it got me ahead in life?

your B-rate sentiment belongs on a bumper sticker.

Restaurant owner did nothing wrong. In fact im glad we have an established standard of refusing service based on the “i dont like your kind around here” principle.

Lefties in the south havent changed since the 1950s

and righties(?) in the south haven't changed since the 1850s so they're still progressive.
