I didn't say it was 'just' space. I said it was the expansion of spacetime. Of course I meant matter as well. That should be obvious. I meant everything that exists within spacetime. I haven't 'shifted' what I said. You just failed to understand it.

As I said earlier - you have no credibility in questioning the big bang theory when you have absolutely no understanding of it, nor do you have an understanding of the most basic physics needed to form even a rudimentary understanding of big bang theory.

I'm suggesting you just drop the subject for a bit, go and learn why scientists say the things they say, the reasoning and methodology used to come to the conclusions you disagree with and then you can credibly disagree with them.
