When you combine Christianity, Judaism, and Islam in the same sentence do you follow that up with "Wow they've done so many positive things for the human species!!!" or do you think of a "control mechanism of the literate dating back to 33 AD" responsible for more atrocities then any terrorist group. Do you think any Eastern philopshy or religion has done even a fraction of what the billions of practioners of the Abrahamic faith have done? Not even close...

btw: I was raised Catholic and practice a Hindu philosophy called "Vedanta" which stated goal is to try and get the Eastern and Western faiths to understand we all call God by different names but in reality God is God whether you call him Bob, Jesus, Allah, etc. and all paths lead you to "God realization". It's why you'll meet people of every faith that are AMAZING people but only get shown the "bad apples". "Truth" is the universal medium across religions and EVERY TRUTH can vary in degree but still be the "truth". Realization of God in Vedanta is called "pure-bliss-consciousness" because eventually you find that you can do nothing to change these things outside yourself. You only support your own EGO and until you lose it you will vehemently defend your socio/cultural/tradiotnal identity. You'll think you can stop starvation, war, disease, and other things with "good faith" / "praying" when in reality you can't do a fucking thing. You are suppose to realize you are God in the human form attempting to realize the higher truths/mysteries of existence by playing the game of life and immersing yourself in "maya" or "illusion" in Sanskrit.

Because the Abrahamic faiths put all their faith in invisble beings that will never return here they are STUNTED SPIRITUALLY.

This is why they took the concept of "reincarnation" out of Biblical texts because then you'd know that you are one with all things and you are responsible for your "karma" which in Sanskrit translates as "work".

I know Hindu folks who think they will reincarnate 5 times because they got rich by using their ego. Is that likely? No. But they won't put it "on god" to fix/remediate that. They take full responsibility for their actions.

Abrahamic religion just can't compete in that sense and to anyone whose studied Eastern Philosophy after being raised in Western traditions you see that "gaping hole" that keeps practitioners of the Abrahamic faith like rabid dogs thinking the "devil" "jin" "dark forces" are at play when in reality it's all just human beings lost in thier own mind attempting to understand existence(which you are one with always and forever) by saying if you are not "one with" "Jesus" "Allah" etc. you can't be one with God. Couldn't be further from the truth.

This is why people laugh then they here more then half of Americans believe in "angels" i.e invisible entities that are somehow behind the scenes working for good.

I can go on and on about the holes in the Abrahamic faith to anyone who has an intellectual open mind to think but like I said the average Catholic doesn't do what I did.

I chose to read about Islam/Hinduism/Buddhism because I was 11 years old when 9/11 happened like most of you I wanted to understand why a culture could "hate" so much and do such a thing.

Eventually you end up reading the Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, Vedas, Mahabharata and realize that Ancient India had it all right and every question a human could ponder answered.

You realize that the Abrahamic ideolgy is inherently flawed but that people still can realize God and be great humans by just reading these texts.

Abrahmic texts even when extrapolated and interpreted in different ways is still "basic addition" compared to the "advanced calculus" that is the Hindu ideology.

If you read all those texts and can tell me differently please do so.

"left" and "right" are political affiliations, not ideologies. There is no ideological consistency across the political spectrum, or else progressive liberals wouldn't be in bed with regressive islamists, and libertarians wouldn't be in the same tent as authoritarian neoconservatives.

Where Nazis are to be found, the left wing is there to support and arm them.
