If you've spent enough time around people working menial shifts in the service/retail industries, you'd probably have heard enough unprompted support for Trump to know he's popular enough people just have to show how much they support him. Might be a vocal minority, but they're certainly vocal about it.
Sure, but then this still doesn't add up in a statistical sense. Trump did not win 40% or so of the working-class black vote or anything like that, so what are the chances that he runs into a random store and all the black employees happen to be big fans and super happy to see him?

I'd gander that Trump's support is pretty inverse for the people with mcjobs versus the people with mcmansions, at least that goes for a blue state like Minnesota.
Yup. At his core, Trump the politician is about rejecting and shaking up a status quo which him and his supporters believe has failed the American people. Of course this type of political messaging will go down like a lead balloon among the social strata for whom the current status quo is working wonderfully.
