This was from one article I found. Is that right? Most of the news cycle on Wednesday is going to be spent dissecting the details of the bill, and then hope that it becomes official by the end of Thursday?

Yes. So far the president and Senate have agreed on bills, but it still has to pass the house with a simple majority.

Last Sunday, there had seemed to be a possibility that the Senate might accept the previous version of the bill (House's proposal).

Going into Thur/Fri, are we actually in a mirrored situation OR is it different this time because the Senate's version actually more likely to be accepted by the House?

The situation can always change because the house can always reject the bill if it doesmt get enough votes and the president could change his mind or yhe senators could change their mind.

Yay legislating!

Can we recruit one of these governors or mayors to take Trump's job?

Cuomo is one of the worst and most corrupt governors in the country and is wildly unpopular in most areas of NY.
Its pretty gross how this manufactured coverage and bots are heaping praise and adoration on him and prepping him for a presidential run.

Hes been running the NYS economy into the ground and running people out of the state for years.
This is the 'theres no place for conservatives in NY and the 2nd amendment is for deer hunting' guy.

These aren't normal political times. New York City is the epicenter of the outbreak in the US and he's dealing with it well. He's speaking the truth about the virus, and in these insane times that's worthy of praise. I wish Trump would deal with this issue as seriously as Cuomo has.

Btw he is personally responsible for some of the most crucially bad policies that caused the previous recession and housing bubble.
He was the secretary of HUD during the Clinton administration. It brings a smile to my face realizing I don't have to specify which Clinton.

Quote
Then why is Clinton culpable? Because his secretary of housing and urban development, Andrew Cuomo, current governor of New York and a likely 2016 presidential aspirant, accelerated easy-housing policies and inflated the housing bubble, setting the stage for its collapse.

Quote
Clinton's contribution to the crisis lay in his appointment of Cuomo to HUD. Cuomo became HUD secretary in 1997 after becoming assistant secretary in 1993. In a heavily researched 2008 article in the Village Voice, Wayne Barrett writes,
Quote
Andrew Cuomo, the youngest Housing and Urban Development secretary in history, made a series of decisions between 1997 and 2001 that gave birth to the country's current crisis. He took actions that — in combination with many other factors — helped plunge Fannie and Freddie into the subprime markets without putting in place the means to monitor their increasingly risky investments. He turned the Federal Housing Administration mortgage program into a sweetheart lender with sky-high loan ceilings and no money down, and he legalized what a federal judge has branded 'kickbacks' to brokers that have fueled the sale of overpriced and unsupportable loans. Three to four million families are now facing foreclosure, and Cuomo is one of the reasons why.

Quote
Cuomo … did more to set these forces of unregulated expansion in motion than any other secretary and then boasted about it, presenting his initiatives as crusades for racial and social justice.

I agree. Lets not be the type of naive person to have blind support in the media propagandized authoritarian 'strongman' candidate.

Cuomo has said many of the same things as Trump and is merely receiving a different type of coverage.

e/ (example: https://cnsnews.com/commentary/michael-w-chapman/media-hypocrites-gov-cuomo-repeats-trumps-optimism-about-drug-test-nbc)

Saying nice things you want to hear during a crisis doesn't make someone a good president.
Hes trash.
