When sessions brings up zero tolerance
when people in the Trump administration bring up the child separations being deterrents
and randomly throw in some "God wants us to" into the mix and blaming the democrats for how it's currently being enforced and you can't really blame the media for talking about any of them

That's not saying that the media doesn't play their own game just that on this specific issue it's been bigly fubar'd by the administration publicly

Ironically Sessions was set up for that question on deterrence by the Media, fox news. I think they thought he'd say no, and his spin on it is being reported half as much as him saying "this is deterrence".
