Account security was entirely 100% up to the player. There have been countless accounts of people getting hacked and scammed. Take one look at Scammer Accusations and you'll see what I mean.
There was no 2FA for your blizzard account back then. There were countless scams to get people to drop their items. People have fallen for those scams.
I am saying I hope they implement some kind of account security this time. 2FA would be a great start.
Oh! I thought d2r has security issues.
Oh yea, I fell for one of those item dropper progs lol

At least I had the brain to leave his game and try it in a selfmade PWd game

I panicked so hard when my Aldur Druid (lol!) started to strip

Then, it closed the game and shut down the PC
It was terrifying, but now I just lol in this

I restarted the PC, the game and went for my game, but it was long closed
At least the scammer did not get my items.
Later that day my friend came online and I told him I got some nice hacks, he asked what does it do, but told him to trust me, its funny!

He did, and I saw him running around in panic, stripping, then log off, and saw him went offline on MSN

He came back, logged in, joined the game And I was laughing so hard, I couldn't even type properly

He was mad, but he got his items back at least, and he knew this trick now
