Well this season was particularly interesting for two reason - showing exactly how a group forms in order to justify their demonization of an individual, and how people can totally deny responsibility for their own actions in order to further demonize someone while justifying and nullifying the conflict that exists between their heart and mind.
Hmm left leaning networks - so i assume you're talking about CNN - for sure they over sensationalize events, but at least they aren't denying their own footprint. Any other News you would have to cite an actual example, most News isn't Liberal Leaning, thats just something the right says in order to find an excuse for why there opinion is so completely wrong on most everything.

better?
CNN was one of the many networks running years old photos of Trayvon Martin in order to push the black child vs. white man narrative. When confronted with the fact that Trayvon wasnt a child nor Zimmerman white they redacted nothing. In fact i remember watching quite a few interviews where those points were brought up and the hosts deflected them or turned it into "a 17 year old isnt a child" type arguments. Was Trayvon a competent adult? no. Did CNN and many other networks try to show him as a peaceful choir boy? yes. All in the name of selling air time. Of course at the same time Fox was heavily implying that Martin was a gang member drug addict and Zimmerman was a 2nd amendment hero who saved the neighborhood.
As to the lack of leftist bias in news, overall i agree. However one quote from my Radio-Tv-Film major friend sticks with me (paraphrasing) "People always say the media has a liberal bias, yet no one has ever proven one exists. What they have proven is that there isnt a single unbias news network on cable tv, left or right pick your pony but every single network is nothing but bias. sensationalism."
Ill have to catch up on the survivor tho, love seeing social game seasons.
