You can't just fire government employees over nothing... you have to have a good reason.

The OIG reports laid out pretty good reason for Comey and McCabe's firings, but without any evidence of actual wrongdoing by Strzok, I don't see why he should be fired.
Page on the other hand was involved in the leaking and her culpability is questionable considering she was at McCabe's orders, but she already resigned.
The real question with Strzok is what kind of tasks he could be put on again if there's no confidence in his ability to touch politicized cases. But the FBI does plenty of work where that wouldn't matter
I think its a really inconsequential question, it shouldn't matter to anyone not working at the FBI above/below strzok what actually happens with him

I hope he testifies publicly... that'll be fun to watch.

an employee of a government agency which is committed to poltiical neutrality said "he's not gonna become president, we're gonna stop it" while investigating a case with high-profile political implications.

at the very least, these comments disqualify him for any politicized or "politicizable" cases.
