Remaster is underwhelming, especially the animations.

Then it is good I did not buy it. :Y
D2 graphs is still pretty decent, and absolutely awesome if you take into perspective its age. 20 years! Jees!
The only thing D2 should have been improved in, security, antibot and script stuff, and keep its items legit. :Y
And maybe some more late game stuff, like the Torch and so on.
At least I have all of it in Singleplayer with Plugy

It may change a bit but I don't see it as worthy of being called remaster because that implies mastery and blizzard Irvine is no longer
capable of even outsourcing talent to do that. Blizzard north were artists first not profiteers which is why the game was so good back in its day.

One thing that the game always lacked though was balancing from an item and skill perspective. Having items that were designed for version
1.00 still in 1.14+ makes little sense
and even back then there was limited viable skill tree options. The only other way to amend this historic issue even blizzard north had would be to
create content that is more interactive to justify the grind. In otherwords if you have to hack something for a
long time it better be entertaining & rewarding & that requires new content to motivate that experience.

Yeah, old blizzard was an art studio, it is now just a money machine.
They could have refining the textures in patches, make it botfree and secure, restat a few items for balance, and maybe add some endgame stuff.
D2R is just casing out. :Y

Account security was entirely 100% up to the player. There have been countless accounts of people getting hacked and scammed. Take one look at Scammer Accusations and you'll see what I mean.

There was no 2FA for your blizzard account back then. There were countless scams to get people to drop their items. People have fallen for those scams.

I am saying I hope they implement some kind of account security this time. 2FA would be a great start.
