My state's leadership also said, send all the Palestinian refugees from Gaza to us, "we will take care of them if no one else will". No one in Chicago wants this to happen. Here's an incident that happened 20-30 minutes from where I live. This will not be an isolated incident. Muslim men don't get along in most cases and still think they live in their own country where they are "Gods" compared to anything else is inferior.

I think these protests are going on in major cities across the world atm but the footage I have seen hasn’t necessarily been pro Hamas as what void was referencing

I’m sure you have bad faith actors everywhere but I still think the actual pro Hamas crew, distinguished from pro Palestine civilian life crew, are a small proportion. I do think this whole pick a side shit lacks nuance.

Also to be fair as someone who has lived in the Midwest my entire, Des Moines, Milwaukee, Madison , Detroit and half a year in oak park - fuck Chicago lol. I agree the last thing this city needs is more refugees. I say that while also being pro civilian life, the world has to be realistic about who where how to spread and house them and you can’t simply just drop Them off in already struggling districts with no infrastructure

That's because we have always had selective coverage in the MSM. You don't hear about it because certain viewpoints MSM simply doesn't cover because it's counter-narrative.

A good example of this are the hundreds of photos or videos of Ukrainian soldiers/officials/civilians openly carrying and showing Nazi symbols, which is something that's barely mentioned or often excused or labeled as Russian propaganda by our media because it's counter-narrative.
