The biggest critics of the "MSM"(whatever that means) usually don't even watch or read these mainstream sources. They just get ridiculous excerpts from right-wing media. Every serious person knows that CNN is more fair than Fox News, and WaPo/NYT are among the best journalistic outlets in the country. Anyone who follows real journalism knows that the vast majority of the time they are accurate.

Then you aren't very discerning, or aren't familiar with them. Networks like CNN have incidentals but largely report factually. Fox has been, for pretty much all of its life, a propaganda arm for the Republicans.
