The above is just hearsay.

Netanyahu is in a rather difficult and precarious situation at the moment, but since he is still in control and presiding the Unity Government, he will definitely invade Gaza and wipe every single potential threat out asap.

A complete win will grant him legendary status and he is pretty much untouchable in years to come.
And USA have no choice but to support almost every decision that Netanyahu's unity government make.

Long story short, the potential of wiping out HAMAS is pretty much more than 90%.
This will give peace to that region for at least the next 10 to 15 years until another variant evolve.

Which will be ample time for Israel and other non extremist coalition within the country to work things out and stabilize the region.
