I wouldn't say the ideas themselves are hidden. The technology to make yourself a hydrogen fueled car is all included in a grade 12 science text book. So nothing is hidden.

Its more like Trillion dollar Oil companies spend a lot of money on lobbying to ensure that the government provides ample subsidies and rebates to the companies themselves. A younger generation of politicians that arent braindead old people or republican can fight this lobbying and also ensure government money is put towards incentivizing companies and helping them move to net zero emissions. As well as creating rebates and the infrastructure for a smooth transition out of fossil fuels.

Second of all, this isn't about the average citizen. The average citizen does dogshit in terms of carbon footprint compared to industry. And again there is hundreds of billions of dollars per year in government subsidies alone in both Canadian and American federal government and many governments that it amounts to literally trillions of dollars per year ready to go in the governments pocket as we switch over.

Like can you literally not see reality? and more realistically of an answer, its not your job to worry about whether or not St louis has enough money to transition away from fossil fuels at the snap of a finger, so you are putting a lot of energy into worrying about tiny issues like money or cities with buses

Yes, these are fox news anchors, paid journalists, not even acknowledging that a 1.2t bill was passed a few months ago. and Needless to say 19 members of the house that are republican and 13 senators that are republican voted yes for the bill. So it was bi partisan.

If you actually go to wallethub and look at the study that is referenced; the study said that the 10 cities mentioned by Fox are actually the ten healthiest CITIES TO LIVE IN in America.

I am not joking. Fox news legitmately took the wallethub study and didnt even read the study they just took the ten best cities to live in the US and called them the 10 worst cities to live in the US..,...
