GA election official Gabriel Sterling: Trump is 100% responsible for GOP losses.

Absolutely true... but I don't like election officials making these sort of statements.

Your earlier point that lots of private entities do it already...is not correct.

You can refuse service for various reasons, but you can CENSOR folks that aren't breaking the law.
You may want to live in that lkind of world... but I don't.

By the same token...I don't want to run around offending people. But if I accidentally do so... I don't expect to be arrested or sued...or w/e.

If you can't see the danger in the c2A part of Section 230...well then I can't make it any clearer.

C2A says you can't sue Twitter if they restrict you from posting obscenities. That's literally it. C2A codifies what was already true before Section 230 - you never could successfully sue Twitter for restricting your access.

Social media platforms are NOT considered private entities. You know this. Have some coffee.

Actually, they upheld that social media was NOT considered a publisher.
Have some coffee bro... seriously. :)

I haven't read up much on the Section 230 stuff, but my understanding is if it's repealed, that would incur tremendous economic costs on websites, and it would only incentivize platforms like Twitter to censor speech more. Donald Trump wouldn't be able to do what he does on Twitter anymore.

Am I wrong on that?

If s230 is repealed then Twitter could be sued for the things people post... those lawsuits would be tossed 99.9% of the time.

C2a didn't make it legal for private entities to censor. That's Literally always been the case all the way back to our founding. It is illegal for the government to force you to host speech

It doesn't need "repealed" just rewritten a bit. See post #182

good call - since 182 is just a quote of 230 c2A and his misinterpretation of it
