To be fair I find English accents to be insufferable(Piers Morgan especially), unless it's an alpha voice like Mark Strong. I think Americans generally speak more plainly than Brits though.

Well... having someone with a dreadful vocabulary is working well so far obviously. Perhaps having someone who has actually studied and gained PhD(s) in subjects relevant to the job at hand would be appropriate. Seems like a no-brainer to me but for some reason you think it's better to employ a no-brainer just cos he's 'down with the homies'.

His goals are somewhat admirable - but he obviously doesn't have the skills to reach them.
