I study mathematics, so that tends to taint my worldview, but there is a very real possibility that the laws behind quantum mechanics are the only logically consistent set of physical laws in which case obviously those are the laws that govern the universe. Maybe there are more universes than this one and we are here because these are the laws that allow for our existence. I don't know. My point is it is not logically inconsistent for the universe to have sprung from nothing. It is also (in my eyes anyway) not logically inconsistent for there to have been a creator who chose the laws of the universe so that we could live here. I don't know that either.

But ya the universe could of came from this quantum shit but then you need a reason for quantum etc and it leads to a never ending sequence.
Unless you can show evidence of a physical law coming into existence by itself than you cant logically be an atheist.
