I sincerely wonder if you know hundreds of people as inappropiate as Trump with Ivanka, really can not distinguish between a normal parent child relationship and whatever the fuck Trump has with Ivanka or if you are just making a point you don't even yourself believe in.

Never said his relationship wasn’t inappropriate. I said it’s not predatory.

BIG DIFFERENCE.

And yes I know hundreds maybe even thousands of parents that say such things. Do you have kids? Have you never told your kid they were beautiful or handsome?

Heck even in the dang maternity ward (been there twice now) every relative there was like “Aw he is so handsome/cute).

And you do not believe that Trump himself is a major part of the list?

If you ignore that the US Is rapidly losing its standing with all its western allies and really hate minorities I can see how you could be content with the first few months of Trump.

In my opinion it would help to sometimes ask yourself how wokeness or lbtq people actually interfered in your life and if all the political capital built since ww2 wasn't worth more than whatever perceived negatives you had from that.

Just to let you know, I am an ethnic Han Chinese born and breed in Singapore.. So I am considered the minority if I am in the US.
As an Oriental Conservative. I have no issues with LGBTQ plus before the past 8 years.

It is fairly simple, we have a fair share of trans in Singapore, we never had a problem with them as a matter of fact we are quite friendly with them.
There is even more Trans in Thailand so as to speak and we visit Thailand for Holidays very often.

The Trans movement in USA is not a Trans movement if I were to be precise, they literally fucked up the whole thing for LGBTQ plus. Those that we see coming out from USA are literally Mentally ILL who are up to no good with insidious intent.
The wokeness part , I don't have to much to say, but my my Ex Prime minister Lee Hsien Loong said it very well, in a very polite and respectful manner.

Let me quote him word by word.

In the West, there is a movement called Wokeness, where you are super sensitive about other people's issues, and you become hyper-sensitive when other people somehow or other say things or mention things
or refer to you without the respect which you or your super sub group feel you are entitled to.

It leads to very extreme attitudes and social norms particularly in some academic institutions, universities.
You talk about safe spaces, You talk about appropriate pronouns.
You talk about " I am about to say something that might be offensive to you, if you don't want to hear it, perhaps you would like to leave now"

And life becomes very burdensome, And I don't think we want to go in that direction.
It does not make us a more resilient , cohesive society with a strong sense of solidarity. We must be more Robust.

And this is exactly what I feel.

"Donald Trump had specifically asked about me because I looked like his daughter, she's 13 as well"

I mean who knows if she tells the truth, would be handy if we had the files to verifiy or if Epstein didn't mysteriously die under Trump, wouldn't it?

In fact my wife just reminded me of the police officer yesterday in HEB that told us:

“Those are two good looking boys you got there.”

He is not perfect. But the Epstien drama did a fair amount of damage. I for one wanted him to win because of the DEI, Woke , LGBTQ plus stuff (Which he did what he promised). On top of it although a far shot, there can be a slight change in the Russia / Ukraine situation.
The Israel / Iran thingy he wasn't too bad , the way he handled it to be honest was ok.

I think the ICE situation was slightly heavy handed but welcomed nevertheless.
The Tariffs is rather badly handled as well.

So I am on the fence really. But hey, lesser evil.

My comment was directed at trump not being “swampy”. He’s done more things that could be described as “swampy” than any other president in our history by an order of magnitude or two. But because we’re so hyper partisan in the US, supporters simply brush it away or excuse it with arguments like the whole political newcomer line.

1. The people you vote for are the same people who punched your people in the face for being chinese during COVID. I also suspekt half of the losers people here supporting Trump would deport you for your skin color given the chance.
2. What is the ill intent of the US lgbtq people? I met transpeople in SEA and transpeople in europe and while I personally do not like how most of them looked they were without fail friendly - something that is not even remotely true for "conservatives" I met around the world.
3. If you are burdened by "wokeness" you are a snowflake that is not resilient enough for the real world. "I can't say what I want anymore" is such a cringey loser attitude, especially when "what you want" is usually sexist and/or racist.

1. I am not American so I didn't vote for him.
Furthermore the Anti Asian issue didn't just happen during Trump. Whatever you see now to the Chinese it happened to the Japanese during the late 70s all the way up to early 90s in USA.

Here is an article, although in this case a Chinese was murdered instead. There are also a lot of unreported cases.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killing_of_Vincent_Chin

2. The ill intent of LGBTQ in USA and to be precise is not the entire group per say, I would say and point out that lobbies, extreme interest groups who are also LGBTQ plus in nature, took it to the extreme and took it far beyond what American society can accept and they kept pushing it.
Trump is the Symptom of the extremely unhappy right and conservatives. The far left is complicit in Trump's coming.

3. I disagree, when you are in a multi cultural society you need to be sensitive to different religion, race and creed. Wokeness prevents debates, prevents communication and it shuts down all kinds reasonable conversations. It is called proportions and they do not have any.
You gave them and inch and instead of a yard they want the whole mile.

Your retort shows that you are part of the the woke crowd that have absolutely no sense of polite speech. My reply to you did not attack you for your personal comments yet well and I explained to you as a matter of fact on how we feel on the other side of the pacific ocean.
But as we all know how your kind will clap back with the bold above.

Which is why when Trump was elected. Some of us just giggled. But we know there will be consequences even for us. But in a rather morbid way.... to make you cry for the next couple of years kinda felt warm one way or another.

But then again, I do not wish those democrats and left leaning friends I have in JSP and in Pard any dreadful situations that they might encounter since these are the people that can agree to disagree and be civil.
Well we have private chats of course. Pard is basically a let's scream and each other .

1. Do you not live in the US? This makes less and less sense

3. I agree that "political correctness" can sometimes mask real problems at hand. Take violence by refugees in europe: They are much more likely to commit a violent crime than a person born here, but about as likely to commit a violent crime as the demographic they are from (young male without persepctive, mostly). I.e. there should be a discussion around how we handle "the global young loser male problem", but it is oftentimes confused with racism and then stifled.

What sense of polite speech? If you think that consequences for hateful or sexist speech are a problem, you are a cringey loser.

I do not wish any dreadful situations to anybody (besides maybe a select few people who caused extreme harm to humanity), why would I? Which psychopath would have to explicitly write that?

1. Why would I want to live in USA, as a matter of fact I can tell you which Asian groups want to move to USA and stay there permanently more or less. Filipinos and Thais and Indians Once upon a time the Vietnamese after the Vietnam war.
Once the Chinese between the late 70s up to mid 2000s all want to move to USA to chase the " American Dream ". Well not anymore.
East Asians in particular , Taiwanese, China Chinese, Japanese, South Koreans and in South East Asia Singapore and Malaysians. Non of them have a particular , I want to move to USA kind of dream. There are definitely some but not majority unlike the above bold.
I mean seriously why ? It's a good thing isn't it.

What's so psychopathic about that, not like you wish me well  as a matter of fact, anyone with any tinge of conservatism or even a little bit of right leaning mindset, to you they are racist, bigots etc et not like you wish them well either.
You are closer to what you describe me as compared to me being in that particular category.

Because to you everything is hateful or sexist. You can dislike a group of people because their cultures might irk you in some way or another but it doesn't mean you will pull out a gun and put a few bullets in their head.
It is infinitely naive that you think racism or disliking certain groups can be completely irradiated.

As of now you are being Racist to me in every sense of it. Because my skin color and my culture that I was being brought up with you starting to talk some " Moral Smack"

And please note this. Racism is not a White People trait. Everyone can be a racist , just how extreme they go. As a matter of fact, 99% of the world have some kind of racist tendency.

And just to let you know about the Covid Violence. Sad to say......most of it was Black on Asian in the States during that period. :o Quite disappointing to be honest. :o
