Close to my own personal opinion, but not what this is all about :-)

Well you asked if people still believe and follow mythology/gods like Odin, Zeus or Ra etc the answer is yes. But these are fringe. There is many pagan types of religions that are practice around the world with different rituals for gods too many to name here.
Wicca is popular amongst Goth girl crowds, various deities you and I you probably never heard of.

But religion is a dying movement as people get more educated. You have a more specific question or just asking generally?

Yes, there are probably thousands of worshipped gods I never heard of, no question, i meant the "popculture" gods speficially.

Do some people still believe that Thor and Odin sit around in Asgard protecting us from Jotunheim's Giants? Do they believe in Valhalla?

Are there still people blaming Zeus for Thunderstorms and pray up to Olympus when they harvest their wine?

Do people still believe in egyptean animal headed gods?

The popular fun god stuff, which is used for blockbuster movies, games, comics and so on nowadays, you know. Are these gods still taken serious by some guys?

Some are really believing it, some subscribed but are searching for answers, some are just following their friends who are doing it.
I think it can be some kind spiritual of exploration that is allowed in the free world. Not sure if it's bad.

I have strong respect for this one:

Good night...
