I didn't even realize that was what you were getting at.
Is it always wrong to climb ladders? Perhaps if you think living in a monastery of as a hermit is the only viable moral path. But I think of it as amoral behavior absent egregious circumstances.
Trump's 2016 victory directly led to the demise of Roe and thereby saved lives. I'm open to utilitarianism, but you'd have to have a very robust calculation written out contrasting the pros and cons.

My position of voting for pro-abortion candidates(not because they favor abortion, but in spite of it) is consistent with Catholic teaching, based on my reasoning for doing so. But that's different from saying "there's nothing wrong with" it. Or "there's nothing wrong with" pursuing a morally bankrupt path in favor of careerism.
I mean, maybe it was just a poor choice of words? We can acknowledge the reality and inevitability of immoral behavior without denying that it's immoral.
Your pro-life God killed all life on this planet excepted a couple of each species, and now you are hesistating - or not- to vote for fascists who are ready to kill millions lives (healthcare, poverty, covid...) in order to "save" the "life" of few thousands sacks of cells ?
