This is probably best for another subject but I think people greatly underestimate AOC. I would actually predict a President AOC if the opponent was anyone but Trump or DeSantis. She's as cocky as Trump, is pretty damn good at attracting attention, and knows exactly what to say to her constituents

Fetterman is also underestimated. He defeated Conor Lamb, who the pundit class thought to be the stronger candidate, quite comfortably in the Dem primaries before he won the general by a much larger than expected margin, after a stroke and being barely able to talk, in a Biden midterm with high inflation and multiple crises.

I absolutely expect Fetterman to get exposed for the faux populist and far-left loon that he is once the national spotlight is on him, but he has more strength as a candidate than people gave him credit for.

AOC is hard to gauge because she's no longer the fresh firebrand; she's trying to become a more serious politician and set herself up for moving to a bigger office. In any case, she is savvy and shouldn't be underestimated.

Lake clearly prioritized the election denialism//auditioning as Trump's 2024 running mate. And what did it get her? A loss in a very winnable race. Based on her charisma and media savvyness, the C+ status of her opponent and the Republican-leaning environment, she absolutely should have won. She embraced the Trumpism unapologetically and was not rewarded; she didn't do better than the other statewide candidates except for Masters (who was a horrible candidate running against a super strong incumbent).

You asked what my point was earlier. The point is that Trumpism is about the cultish aspects, not policy. Sure, policy has a role, but what gets the cultists fired up are other things unrelated to policy(like election denialism, owning the libs, trashing the media, etc).

The democrat party is forced to vote in lockstep with one another or become demonized.

Those of us who aren’t blind remember this woman being chased into a bathroom, harassed and filmed in a stall because she thought for herself and her constituents, which you kindly pointed out do not agree with the democrat platform.

Yes, it is no surprise she is denouncing her affiliation with these lunatics.

And the Republican party under Trump has been so amenable to different viewpoints. Lol.

Eh. Fetterman had the full backing of the luciferian Dem machine. I think what you see is what you get with him. Easily beatable, sans voting shenanigans, by a decent opponent.

Many republicans voted against each other under trump. Two democrats voted against the new agenda under Biden. One just left the party the other threatened to run as Republican next time, but caved under pressure.

The dems say, don't let the door hit you in the ass. Lowest approval rating ever, she stood zero chance as a dem in her next election.
