The point of this forum is to debate political issues. This is a very controversial topic that as far as I can see nobody is talking about in the mainstream. Things like this should be front and center.
Side note. I recently made a Twitter (never once felt in any danger btw). I noticed that on democrat politician and pundit pages supporters are posting a lot of screenshots of the constitution. Meanwhile in real life democrat politicians are passing blatantly unconstitutional bills. There is an extreme disconnect between the internet, where voters are, and real life where things actually happen.
Me personally I hate all "legislation" that goes towards capping free speech. I don't like any of it.
I think it most likely will lead to more of the same.
My gut feeling is that most of this comes in the face of the MAGA and Q BS of not even being able to cope with reality. People believe politicians on the left eat babies. "cuz Q said"
OR that every liberal is a "groomer" and the elections are rigged "only if I lose" the vax is "gene therapy" etc. etc.
and from the left has become "everything is a Nazi", the entire crazy "gender is my choice" shit the extremes are winning even with a small majority. They attract the media's radar and everyone is folding to social pressures.
Waiting for some company *maybe Twitter? to just not give a shit.
Here's the problem though, its gonna go full dumpster fire with all these stupid fucks running the show. I don't believe in the censorship, but it's keeping a lid on the batshit. I suppose maybe its time to let it fully implode. Let the Alex Jones of the world run the US, and then rebuild it.
