"Our democracy" is a silly concept that only has currency in the West.

Those countries, either they want to destroy you, physically, or they don't. They don't care about destroying your "democracy".

Putin's leeches have free seats on the battle fields in Ukraine.

There's a really cool lecture I watched by this former KGB spy to America named Yuri Bezmonov that goes into detail about how they used subversion as a weapon vs America in the cold war, if you search him on YouTube it'll probably pop up quick, really neat insight into that sort of stuff, and he talks about how American society is particularly vulnerable to it compared to other countries.

I imagine the Facebook stuff uses a lot of the same tactics.
