violence of any kind is wrong. if i remember, the senate acted pretty quickly to ensure protection for the justices. major right wing political figures are doubling down like helical here and making themselves look even more foolish on the world stage. The GOP as a political party are acting like a political faction of some third world shit hole. no platform, no ideas, just violence and obstruction, and overreach.
You aren't remembering right. The Senate passed the bill before the Kavanaugh incident, and it was Pelosi specifically who held it up, well after the attempted assassination of Kavanaugh and when it was clear that the justices were in danger and protection was insufficient.
The Scalise and Rand Paul incidents are years old now. Violence in American politics isn't new. Of course we shouldn't be murdering politicians, a child knows that, how it took you this long to figure it out is anyones guess.
