Vaccines creation, vaccine policy, and opinions about vaccines under president 1 have no bearing what president 2 did?

if trump said "this is how we're going to do it", which he did, and biden came in office and said "yeah let's keep that", as he did, then you can't say "this is all Biden's fault". that's not how fault works.

and an osha recommendation is not a government mandate.

many governments did mandate, ineffectually, mask wearing.

many governments did mandate, brutally, the closure of businesses they deemed nonessential.

no governments, to my knowledge, mandated vaccine use. not in schools, not in the general public, nothing. some govt sectors is the closest you get. which is still an act of the free market.

I'm against people suffering so other can become rich.

pretty much sums up covid and the vaccine in 1 neat little package.

The original statement I refuted was a federal mandate never being even brought to the table. It absolutely was brought to the table, almost immediately paused pending a court ruling, and was quickly stuck down.

You are nowhere close to what I am even talking about. I am not saying you are wrong I am telling you what you said is irrelevant. Nowhere am I saying anything is Biden’s fault. I am saying he pressured OSHA to mandate vaccines for every business they are involved with.

OSHA is part of the department of labor. The federal one. This is not up for discussion these are facts.

dont you think a fairly reasonable avenue for those that would have been affected to just test and not get a vaccine is important context?

Nothing against the vaccines themselves, just the mandatory vaccination which cost a couple of my friends their job.

Osha's regime was "test or vaccinate". Meaning you didn't have to get vaccinated if you were testing frequently.

So unless you have something specific that counters that that I'm not aware of, yes, conversation is over.



Why shouldn't an employer have a right to determine the conditions of your employment?

What's clear to me in this thread and more broadly as I look out into our soceity is that mass media is programming individuals to defend people in power, at a time when the people in power havent created a general good in our world. These warriors are COMPLETELY ignorant of the above mentioned influence and preach to others about their bias and jump at the oppurtunity to discredit them.

Remember folks, you're only shown what you're meant to see. I just pray that people deep down know, they are an unwitting audience member to a inescapable theatre of confusion. And the more we shout, the more they turn up the volume. And your issues aren't beside you, they are above you. Stop fighting us, for them...
