Why do Asian Americans study so hard and yet being discriminated into admission into the best university even though they get the scores.

You're going to need to be more specific and provide data.

"Asian" is like half the entire world. A huge subset of "Asians" going to college in America who "studied hard" are relatively wealthy kids from China, Korea, Japan, etc. so you've got a big economic bias in the other direction.

Similarly, there are "Asian" groups that massively under-perform the average.

They need to be looked at with a more specific lense than "Asians do good".

I am talking about American born Asians or first generation Asians Americans.
I will be more specific.

Chinese, Indians, Japanese and Koreans.

In China yes, unless you are doing specific job that need a white guy , if not most top positions are held by Chinese.
If you are in a multinational company based in China for example, JP Morgan etc etc , then of course the head would usually be white or Indian.

I cannot say for the other countries that you mentioned because I am not familiar.

why is Kentucky such a poor state if race actually impacts privilege?

First generation is still going to be pretty biased towards coming from money. It's hard to immigrate. You tend to need money and have some kind of connection.

Especially when coming from China, India, Japan, and Korea.

I work with an Indian post-doc who is incredibly stupid, but got to a prestigious school and a prestigious position on his money and connections.

This is very sensitive comment.
It's like asking why Central America, South America, Philippines, Indonesia and even some Balkan states are in such poor conditions.

Personally I think it's culture privilege.

Conservatives are triggered snowflakes who can't handle basic Western things like governing and allocating resources to build infrastructure.

Do you know how many pig tails from China was working in the Gold Mines in San Francisco ? The Chinese exclusion act?
a lot of them managed to stay.
The Vietnamese war. Korean War etc A lot of poor Asians came to America with broken families and literally nothing.

So i kind of reject your comment that they have money and connection. Although what you say is not entirely untrue but that doesn't apply to most Asians.
