imagine if you will that once per day someone walked up to you and said "why wont you say out loud you dont beat your wife", and for weeks on end you say "i dont beat my wife, i dont know why you think i do but i dont". then months go by, years even, and every day someone finds you, and makes you say you dont beat your wife.
