It really doesn't change whether you can catch it or whether you can pass covid onto other people. If you were educated on the topic, you'd understand that no vaccines do that. What they do, however, is reduce the effects of the sickness on your body. Your body builds up antibodies that are specific in attacking that specific viral strain.

I guess it comes down to the definition of vaccine. I believe that in years past, vaccines were something that gave a person immunity against a disease. In fact these true vaccines were very good at this, which is why we say certain diseases have been wiped out. But now, these covid "vaccines" merely reduce the severity of symptoms. They don't give you immunity against covid. In a strict sense, they should not be considered a true vaccine.

The real reason why diseases never really entered our society is because we took vaccines and then avoided them for decades, and eventually the disease never spread throughout the society due to built in human immunity throughout the vaccinated public and its overall rarity due to not having hosts.
