The shooter shot over 140 round within 3 minutes. I doubt anyone was screaming after that. However, I do agree they should have continued to went in. Especially since they had 11 cops in that hallway 3-4 minutes after the shooting, 2 who had rifles. What I'm just saying is, Pete is the who's really at fault here. Everyone likes to blame all the cops, but he's the one who started with the doors are locked, told his officers to stand down, and at one point officers were mentioning he's in the room talking to the shooter. Most officers were thinking it's a barricaded subject.
Imo they are all at fault. if the door was not even locked (let alone barricaded), people should have checked.
there are many reasons to enter asap, including giving first aid/cpr to the victims, maybe they could have saved a handful.
