I oppose the arbitrary insertion of unrelated bullshit into legislation, at both the federal and state levels. If I had my way, unrelated riders would be banned in Congress. So yeah, no lambos for anyone. I'd also ruthlessly enforce the STOCK Act, whether it was Richard Burr or Nancy Pelosi.

But this bill is something that has been kicked around by Congress for a DECADE. They keep fucking around, and veterans keep dying, whether by the effects of the exposure to this toxic shit, or by their own hands because they can't take the pain and suffering any longer. These men and women took and oath and stood a post in service to this country, and were exposed to toxic things in their direct service. This country owes it to them to provide the necessary care that resulted from it.

Mitch McConnell is just sour that he got owned by Schumer in the CHIPS bill negotiations, so he decided to flip his caucus and block this (which again, previously passed 84-14). It's political bullshit using the lives of veterans as pawns.
