Wokeism is the religion of the “secular” left, focusing on relativism and shifts worship from some type of unifying being to the self.

As a theory/intellectual concept, wokism can best be described as "Critical social justice", with 'Critical' referring to the Critical Theory of the Frankfurt School.

Being woke was about being aware of racial/social injustices around the world. Instead of fairness and equal opportunity for all the movement devolved into we want free shit, blacks are to have special treatment, believe all women etc etc anyone who disagrees with us is racist. It has become a moral and ethical blackmail movement which holds people hostage because it plays into that people generally want to be good and don't like confrontations.

The whole notion of being woke is boiled down to being an angry purple hair communist who accuses you of being a Nazi for just being white and breathing. It is no longer movement of aware and fair its become racist and unjust.
At this point it feels like they are out to gather magical browny points instead of actually helping those that need help.
