I travel by sea ice until July (Nov-July) and throughout July I am on broken sea ice.

I don't expect any cops to ever come for me, nor does anyone here. I wouldn't expect them to come help me if I'm out in the water, either.

Could they have done more? Obviously. Should they be punished? Nope.
