the thing is, i don't have a problem with gun obsessed morons living and dying by the gun - but the tens of thousands of innocents that die each year don't deserve it, just because some small-dicked, power tripping idiots hilariously deluded themselves into thinking their little hobby is somehow essential to their very "freedom" (lol), and that they can't be inconvenienced in the slightest, no matter how many children are massacred... it's insanity, and everyone who grew up in the civilised world can see that...

the funny thing is all sorts of expensive and potentially dangerous hobbies require many loops to jump through. race car drivers are a great example. but gun nuts think "shall not be infringed" applies equally from 1 gun and 10 bullets to 200 guns and 100,000 bullets. from a black powder rifle to large capacity paramilitary rifles and hand guns. that it applies to transportation and storage or even use. the slippery slope argument gets worse every year this shit keeps happening, 10 years ago we heard "try that in texas" now we hear texans crying "dont make it political". is if a Quran carrying muslim could ahve done the same thing without them making it political.
