CRT is rooted in the belief that all races and cultures ought to produce the same outcomes in terms of level of income, educational achievements, etc. You know, intellectual and creative outputs.

Because to believe that one culture could produce a better outcome than another has been considered among the lefty-loony circle as "racist" for a long time. That conservatives tout American culture as being better than some other third-world ones plagued with extreme poverty, violent crimes, and gang activities as an alternative to direct racial supremacy.

I remember I took a gender studies philosophy elective when I was in college (had to if I wanted to take 6 course load on that semester since I had no alternative that fit my schedule) and they were saying exactly this. That "racists" were using cultural comparisons as a "dog-whistle".

So with that premise, CRT comes to the conclusion that since blacks do not produce outputs equaling whites, the only explanation for this shortcoming is the result of "institutional racism". And since this "institutional racism" is not something that can be identified, it must be produced from subtle biases on the part of the "white oppressors", meaning it's everywhere in America because all white people are inherently racist. It also adds some nonsense about how historical wrongs have made it difficult for blacks to climb out of poverty.

So CRT concludes that the only way to balance out this injustice is a form of race-based socialism. Government mandated policies that would forcefully match statistics of blacks to whites via aggressive affirmative action and ludicrous amount of "slavery reparation". It is ok for others to feel the pain of government controlled reprogramming of our society because there is no injustice here. After all, to be black is to be a victim. Or so CRT claims.

Here is the problem with CRT: Asians.

Like blacks, Asians have lived in America for generations. Many Asians (particularly from Southeast Asia) arrived in America as penniless refugees or migrant workers. This is the same for many Hispanic Americans.

But all those groups ended up climbing up to the higher echelon of our society than blacks, and even higher than whites.

Yet CRT argues that it's not just about blacks (even though blacks are the 99% beneficiary of it). It's a white vs non-white thing. That whites are inherently racist to everyone non-white. So how do you explain non-white people with extreme language barriers and less startup capital to succeed more than blacks, or even whites?

Could it be... cultural? Then the entire premise that CRT is based on is false.

So you deny that material inputs have an impact? Like, if you enslave and discriminate against a group, they won't be set back upon getting equality on paper?

The classic liberal thought on race was that all people should be treated equally and that discrimination on the basis of race is inherently wrong.

Critical race theory is the new liberal thought, and argues that white people should be discriminated against in favor of black people. Not merely in terms of affirmative action, but as a form of systematic racial discrimination for generational punishment. Critical race theory tells white people that to believe in the equality of races is to be bigoted, and only by embracing a self-flagellating attitude can they atone for the perceived sins of white people. Even if they're asian, not white. Even if they're white, but their ancestors never owned slaves and their family faced historical discrimination and/or genocide.
because critical race theory is a load of retardisms

when I read his post I assumed he was talking about when the era when segregation laws were written out.. segregation officially ended but the situation still sucked for non-whites and the power was still held entirely by white people... and how the society that has existed since that revision is still stacked in favour of white people.

I don't think it's difficult to see how communities that had a 200 year head start (and the benefit of slave labour) are better off than communities that are 60-70 years old and built by people who started with nothing and have received very little support

Of coarse it favors white people.
This country was made by them and for them only.
Just like every other country.

Racism has existed forever. Just about any time in history going to the ancients records there has been injustices and inequalities perpetrated by every race, Jews, Asians, blacks, whites, minorities have all been guilty of being racist. Some more then others.

CRT is simply a recent history cherry picking of the white people as somehow being only ones guilty of all the wrongs in the world. It's aimed as political tool to gaslight rather then to bring awareness.
CRT is akin to Mc Donald's and Burger King trying to convince you how Subway is the only unhealthy fast food chain

CRT teaches racism in order to combat racism in the past...

CRT is so far up its own ass. Im waiting for the next subject of hate that it's yet to produce that they can point like a pitchfork at whatever group has ancestors guilty of shameful things.

10 years after slavery? Sure. Hell, I'll be generous. Within the generation of people who were slaves? Meh. But 157 years after it ended? Not a chance.

You realize that people whose lives were completely destroyed and had trauma of World War II rebuilt all of Western Europe and Japan in like 20~30 years, yes? South Korea after Korean War? Check, Vietnam after Vietnam War? Check, China after Mao's Communist China? Check

Russian Federation after Soviet collapse? Ehhh, sort of.

The point is, it seems that certain ethnic groups seem to have a knack of getting back up no matter how many times they were kicked down. Yet, you're still whining about slavery 157 years after it ended.

That's CRT for ya.

The land had residents before white people...?

Are there any government publications in the intended implementation of CRT that anyone here would recommend?

Didn't say land.
I said country.

Also the land was gained from spoils of war.

So what about red lining and civil rights? That ended less than a generation ago. Would that have an impact?
