Again, lopping the meaning off of words no more makes an argument than lopping the meat stick off a man makes a woman. You can try to redefine words all day long or muddy them into uselessness. Words are just tools to express concepts, and they don't change reality.

If words are just tools to express concepts then you should have no issue with agreeing that gender is a social construct. After all, as long as I've laid out the concept I'm trying to convey with the word gender then that's all that matters.

You don't get to say "words are just tools to convey meaning" and then say "You don't get to redefine words". Sorry, can't have your cake and eat it too.

I guess it can argued that gender is a social construct, however it's mostly based off of biological sex. Yes there are those that blur the lines however they are mostly seen as freaks.

All categories are social constructs, first off. If you are sorting things, you're just doing it for your own brain's satisfaction. Nature just makes things that reproduce. It doesn't say "okay, this one's gonna be X and this one's gonna be Y". It just kinda does things. If a third sex that happened to be able to reproduce with both other sexes happened by accident then nature would continue it. It wouldn't say "you are wrong, go away". No, it would propagate. Because nature doesn't do categories.

That's something hard for people to realize. We project so much onto reality that isn't there.
