High school isn't for learning trades. It's for learning the basics of a wide array of different things, and human sexuality is absolutely an appropriate subject to have a class on.

SMRT is frequently used as a meme/joke. I rarely ever point out stuff like that, but the irony of you making the other mistake in a post where you're simultaneously bitching about education and touting your own is delicious.

Believe it or not, it's entirely appropriate and simple to teach kids what being gay or trans is and can easily be done in an age appropriate way. Kids are really receptive to simple explanations in a way that adults who have been brainwashed to be against something aren't.

Tell them that instead of boys liking girls some boys like boys and some girls like girls and they're just like "okay. Makes sense". Instead of grown adults in this topic saying we should beat it out of them.
