Yeah, lol. Here in Germany, we're approaching €1.90/ L, which is equivalent to about $8/g if you convert the units/currency. Thank god I live close enough to the Austrian border that I can tank up over there, at the cheap price of €1.50/L or $6/g.

i could only go to denmark, but its even more expensive there

at least my bike doesnt need a lot of gas and i am not riding much anyway atm

Thank your pussy socialist leaders who don't let you have any freedom. Here in America we have freedom and that's why we pay less. We aren't socialists who live off the nanny state and get called racist if we don't let browns rape our wives. Oh, sorry, in PC speak like you're used to they're called "refugees", because they take refuge in your wife.

B for effort, C- for originality. ;)

By the way, how much are you Americans paying again for your healthcare?

I'm smarter than all of you folks anyway, I'm living in a nice district of a huge, affluent city where I can reach the city center in 10 minutes taking the subway, so that I don't even have a reason to own a car. Imagine owning a car and paying hundreds of bucks per months for gas, insurance and write-offs, lmao, pathetic. (On the rare occasions that I do need a vehicle, I use my mom's car, but if I couldn't, a carsharing subscription would still be infinitely cheaper than owning my own car.)

You're at least smarter than most conservatives, although it isn't often reflected in the actual opinions you hold. But I think that's mostly because you live in such a cushy country where you have never actually experienced the consequences of having a conservative government.

The U.S. is still the vanguard and harbinger for social, cultural and political trends across the entire Western world. Therefore, I have a higher interest in the outcome of American culture wars than in stuff like American tax rates or healthcare. Simply put, stuff like BLM protests, "woke culture" or social media censorship are affecting me a lot more than stuff like Obamacare.

Being a foreign voyeur who doesn't have to live in the country shifts my priorities with regard to U.S. politics away from economic issues on which I'm fairly moderate (e.g. taxes, healthcare, welfare) and towards social/cultural issues on which I'm fairly conservative (lord have mercy with any motherfucker who comes to take any of my status or privilege away). That's why I'm coming across as more conservative to you guys than I actually am.

@ Bold - It's also that you routinely bash Democrats for trying to bring the kind of economic change you already have. So no, it's not just that you prioritize social issues, you actively demonize Democrats for the economic issues you are "fairly moderate" on.

You have a very distorted view of the American social climate because you tend to not take conservative sources with the same level of skepticism you take liberal or leftist sources. So you see "LIBERALZ ARE TELLING KIDS THEY ARE BAD FOR BEING WHITE!" and just kind of go with it, and then make me correct you 10 times.

When did I "demonize" a Democratic economic proposal which didn't amount to full-blown socialism? Sure, I might disagree with some stuff, like Bernie's take on Medicare for All (which went FAR beyond just advocating for universal healthcare like the one we have in Europe), but I don't demonize sane economic proposals just because I disagree with them. Feel free to correct me; I genuinely don't know what you're referring to.
