Noone is a terrorist. Trudeau used the law whether you like it or not. The truckers were criminals but did not achieve a level of criminality that would cross into terrorism. Thus, no terrorists.

Also, maybe Trudeau isn't a real terrorist, however he invoked the act when there really wasn't a reason to (no invasion by foreign army, no natural disaster..etc). He clearly abused his power as the leader of a nation.

Next time they shoot these road blockers on sight isnt it ?

They are criminals for blockading borders and laying seige to the Capitol city of the nation as well as attempting to lay seige to other cities. These are not legal actions. Trudeau was forced to invoke the act to remove the blockades because there was insufficient laws on the books to deal with them without the act. Freezing assets isn't something you can just do on a whim, no matter how temporary. The government doesn't own tow trucks or have tow truck drivers on payroll and tow truck companies were refusing to get involved for fear of being perceived poorly. Being required to get involved removed the threat of being perceived poorly, they had no choice.

I have yet to see anyone anywhere show how the situation could have been handled without invoking the act, and until I see a cogent description of how it could be done I support that particular decision.
