people at the bottom are blind to their own toxicity and their actual worth. Many of them are just there to exist and trench themselves with unions and asskissing to not get fired.

Yes for sure humans are horrible fools, but believe me structures without toxicity, or so much less, exist.
For one I had the whole view and I am sure this was coming from the general manager, who recruited nices guys from the begining and in almost all departments.
This said this company was doing much benefits.

It's so easy to expect the top leadership to do something or not do something, but in the lower and lowest echelons is the real septic tank.

I'm surprised Plague posted here. A lot of employers these days hire private entities to observe arenas like this to look out for threats to their hegemony. Wouldn't be surprised if there weren't a few of their bribed weasels wandering about here. The new corporate police state with a goal to keep your mouths shut, you worthless peons.
